Ground Screw Installation
At Anchoring Colorado, we provide comprehensive ground screw installation services that offer a robust and eco-friendly alternative to traditional foundation methods. Our ground screws are helical anchors that deliver exceptional stability and load-bearing capacity, making them ideal for various soil conditions and applications.
How Ground Screws Are Installed:
Site Assessment: Our team assesses the site to determine the best ground screw model and installation method based on soil type and project requirements.
Preparation: The installation area is cleared and prepared, ensuring there are no obstructions.
Installation Process:
• Drilling: Using a hand-held driver or hydraulic drive-head, the ground screw is drilled into the ground with precise downward pressure and rotation.
• Depth Control: The screw is installed to a minimum depth of 4’ 11”, but can go deeper, leaving no more than 4” of the screw’s shaft visible above ground.
• Compression and Friction: The rotation and downward pressure ensure maximum soil compression and friction, securing the screw firmly.
Attachment: Once installed, the appropriate flange attachment is added, ready to support the structure you are building.
Installation Pricing
Our ground screw installation services are competitively priced to traditional concrete caissons. The advantage of ground screws is that they allow for immediate construction, eliminating the waiting period for concrete to cure. This means you can start building the same day your ground screws are installed.
